hey, any of you dopes that peruse Facebook like I do might like to take a look at N Moore's mothers page. She has such a great attitude and has a good head on her shoulders. makes me like Nia all the more to know she has wonderful role model in her life. Anyway , if you would like, her name is Ayanna Cattleya. I followed a link from the lady Vols page and found her a few minutes ago.

I'm not gonna be bothering her or anything like that but just thought ya'll might like to see just where and how our fav LV was bought up. :)

Man, you guys are expecting a war up there. Probably right. Hope Izzy can handle it.

UK graduated their starting frontcourt last year. The current starters for UK are non-factors. Izzy should have her way with them.

Their guards are brutal though. Hope Bashaara is ready to go up for putbacks with 3 sets of arms hanging all over her.

This should be an easy 10-12 point win - the loss of their pg is the last nail in the coffin for them.

I also think Tennessee should win routinely, but more because UK has a weak frontcourt. Even without Thompson, the trio of Epps, O'Neill and Harper are good enough to give UK the edge in the backcourt.

But Izzy, Bashaara and Cierra should own the paint and dominate the boards against this inexperienced frontcourt.

Having some serious deja vu reading this thread to a few weeks ago leading up to the Notre Dame game....

I won't be able to see it live on TV but taped it and will watch later tonight or tomorrow. Won't look for scores in sports section just in case either. Don't want to spoil it! Hopefully Lady Vols will know how much these remaining games count towards wiining the SEC and a possibly high ranking come March. Hopefully they'll get no worse than a #2 seed.

Intensity and attention to detail. If we have it they can't beat us. It is that simple will we come with effort or intensity or act like were there for a mini-vacation. If we come to play we win tonight.

I don't care about the score or how the game looks. I just want a win. With the rough play of UK, the final score is all I care about

Kentucky isn't ND, but I see your point. I'll hold my optimism until at least the end of the first half. This team is truly a Jekyll and Hyde kinda team.

Burdick and Reynolds missing easy shots. You have to make those. Kentucky is small but fairly quick.

I liked seeing that backdoor pass/basket by Carter. That is there. ND would destroy kentucky with backdoor cuts (as they did us). That is how you beat a team that is overplaying on defense.

Fortner makes a good point: You can't take both Izzy and Graves out at the same time.

We should slow it down and grind on kentucky. we are bigger, and they are in foul trouble. Instead, Massengale is taking threes--and missing.

Ugly, anemic half-court offense by both teams. Kentucky's players do not move on offense. They find a place to stand and stay there.

Didn't the men used to play there? Probably some pretty good games there over the years.

I hate the lines on the floor though.

Yes. It lasted until the 70s. When it was built it was the biggest in the South at 13,000 capacity. Stoll Field is right across where the football team played long ago. Now the womens team, gymnastics, and volleyball use the place. Good area right over near the student center where some old stuff is.
