At least according to the NET rankings, Liberty is better than Florida A&M (who we beat by a similar margin at home), Memphis (who we needed overtime to beat at home), Troy (who we beat by a similar margin at home), Eastern Kentucky (who we barely beat by 9 at home), and Wofford (who we beat by 22 at home). The only thing you can tell from a game like this is that we beat a vastly inferior team like we should. But this is probably the worst team we’ve played all year. SEC play is what will tell us if this team is truly “back”
Couldn’t have said it betterAt least according to the NET rankings, Liberty is better than Florida A&M (who we beat by a similar margin at home), Memphis (who we needed overtime to beat at home), Troy (who we beat by a similar margin at home), Eastern Kentucky (who we barely beat by 9 at home), and Wofford (who we beat by 22 at home).
We were only a 10-15 point favorite based on how we've played so far this season. I will certainly take a 35-point road win over a team that only lost to Louisville by 9 and Texas by 18.
A noble but futile effort in factual reasoning; some will never entertain the prospect that the LVs can make a decent team look really bad.At least according to the NET rankings, Liberty is better than Florida A&M (who we beat by a similar margin at home), Memphis (who we needed overtime to beat at home), Troy (who we beat by a similar margin at home), Eastern Kentucky (who we barely beat by 9 at home), and Wofford (who we beat by 22 at home).

Kaiya has 7 assists. And 12 pts.
I admit I said she is no PG and I'm still not sure how that will work out against stiffer competition.
But what a great step up for Kaiya. Was challenged and by God answered. Out loud. Keep going!
WYNN AND EDIA JUST NEED TO BE GOOD ENOUGH TO REST POWELL. I believe there.Completely agree. My ongoing worry is that Wynn would look pretty good against Liberty--ensuring that this PG experiment continues into SEC play--and then we discover that she is not up to that level of competition. I hope to be wrong and Kaiya thrives in the role but this line-up decision is definitely a wait and see.
i was about to add we only had 13 turnovers and 22 assist. improving in that area the last two games. we also kept a team under 60 points for the first time this season!!Only 13 t.o.s, Rickea had 4 of them. Should we forgive her?
22 assists today children. Wynn had 7 and Sara had 5 assists. Sara also had 4 rebs and 3 blocks on a miserable shooting day for her.
This felt like a real team win, everyone contributed. I felt like they moved better, freer today than probably since Fla St. I love the pace and I really like Powell/Wynn and RJ at the head of that press pushing defensive pace. Only thing is wear and tear on RJ.
RJ had 4 pts, 3 rebs, and 2 steals in the first 2 1/2 mins and that start never slowed down.
Even if the PG position doesn't work out in SEC for KW, I think she can contribute alot fm the 2 spot. She really has improved a ton with her handles and decision making and her energy and speed is a good spark. She's finishing better now also.Completely agree.
