Great comeback proud of the team didn't hang their heads came out in the second half and took care of business. Massengale great second half, Carter and Russell were super big win for us.

Not looking like a top ten team yet. Lots of improvements need to be made but it is good experience to get a tough win on the road.

No final 4 team in sight tonight. Don't delude yourself by blaming this on the refs. Simmons learned nothing since last year. Wow, I'm shocked at how bad the LVs looked against a small team. Coaching seems to be an issue too.

might not live thru this season if they play like this much more, damn refs!

LVs won. MTSU is a very good team and a good test. We do need to adjust some things though. Last year we went in to over time with them.

well,it is just the first game of the year and it sounded like they are having a problem adjusting to the way the game is going to be called this year,the TV networks will step in and ask why the games are taking so much longer from all the fouls,but that is just a guess on my part :)

We won the second half by 22. I don't know what that first half was about. We were flat and all the foul calls took us out of the game defensively. We will adjust it is tough when your trying to be aggressive in your defense.

wow 58 fouls by both teams,that is a bunch,i wonder how the game is being called by other refs nationwide ?

I guess Holly has a great halftime speech as well the girls came out and erased that 12 point lead in five minutes.

i don't understand the need to call hand checking fouls,if it is a blatant push call it,but just checking ?

Thanks, I found it.

These are the major changes:

■ A defender can no longer continually keep a hand or forearm on an opponent.

■ A defender cannot use an arm bar to impede an opponent’s progress.

■ A defender cannot place two hands on an opponent.

Yes and it is the same for both teams we just have to adjust and move our feet on defense.
