That was one positive to take away from tonight. Too little too late, but it was good to FINALLY see some fight and desire to win from this group of players.

This is all psychological with this team. Maybe they can figure it out in spite of Holly.

Diamond, Bashaara, and Jordan brought. Despite some ill advised shots, Jaime wasn't bad.

Too bad none of the other players showed up. Defensive Specialist was back to her regular useless self, and Te'a looked like a junior high player trying to play against professionals. Mercedes was afraid of getting blocked by Turner when she could see over Turner's outstretched arms. Someone needs to remind her that she's 6'6.

The Vols are incapable of sustained good play. We play well for a stretch, then play terribly for long stretches, and then try to get our act together late. Every game is the same: Tonight, again, we played a good first quarter tonight, then lost the 2nd and 3rd quarters by 20+. You can't do it. We don't play defense like we used to--and we are not smart. We should be too athletic to let ANYBODY shoot 53 percent against us, but that is the difference between players/coaches who are smart and players/coaches who are dense. We had 20 turnovers again tonight.

So I wonder what was the deal with Diamond in the 3rd quarter? Was she injured, or was Holly trying to teach her a lesson?

If it was the latter...well, Holly sure showed her now!

And Tennessee loses Graves. That will be a big, big blow...even worse if Jasmine Jones isn't able to come back. Who will play tough under the basket and fight for rebounds without her?

I think the turnovers are a direct result of not knowing what to do on offense, seems like no one knows what anyone else is doing.
