Cooper should have been red-shirted. She just isn't ready to play at this level right now, IMO. Not even close.

You have to sit Carter when you play these type of teams because she can't score. Deshields & Nared should post up, they have 5'9 guards on them.

Talent at what, besides turnovers, 3 pointers that hit the side of the backboard, getting her shot blocked, taking six steps to create separation for her bunny jump shot, and getting beaten off the dribble by her opponent.

She's by far the worst of the 3 "star" freshmen on the court. She needs alot...ALOT...of work on her game if she's ever going to be a capable player.

She dribbles too much. She needs to learn to be efficient.

It's mind boggling. ND isn't nearly as talented this year as they have been in the past, yet we have more talent than we've had in many years, at least on paper and we still get owned by ND. this is going to get ugly

True but I wasn't expecting her turnover issue. I do concur that diamond has kept us in lots of games. Without diamond, we prolly lose to UTC, Syracuse and maybe Witchita state??

It took Izzy until her junior year to start playing tough inside. Mercedes reminds me right now of where Izzy was in her sophomore year - capable of so much more than she's giving us. I'm not sure why it takes our posts so long to develop mental toughness.
