Pat would have benched bad play in a second. She would have been in the refs faces and the players faces ugh.

It's obvious Russell and Nared couldn't care less about this game midway through the 3rd Qtr. They do not like Warlick . This season will end up being a complete train wreck

There is no excuses except Holly is the coach period. they blew a 23 point lead and she stood there on the sideline and looked clueless and at halftime said she dont have an answer. She hasnt had an answer since he was hired.
She stood there and watched them turn the ball over and watched them give up layup after layup and didnt not change nothing.

An absolute EPIC FAIL by the Lady Vols. No defense,very poor ball security, not top notch rebounding,no flow on offense,poor decision making. Back cuts have killed Lady Vols for years. Russell with ONE shot in the second half. Shows what happens when you don't value possessions and get lackadaisical after getting a big lead. Forget this dismal performance and move on. Looked hard for a bright spot,couldn't find any.

why do you say the don't like Holly? I do feel like Nared especially lost interest of course she did suck it up, reverted to just throwing up stuff again. Just so embarrassed by this loss, not that we loss but how we lost. SMH

i have no problem with starting the freshmen, the problem is Holly and the way she coach them, When Westbrook who will never beat you off the dribble is just allowed to just hold the ball then turn the ball at will Needs to be held accountable not giving a pass. Hayes also the same thing bad turnovers, and if Hayes will not shoot the open jump shot there is no reason for Holly to play her.

Did she actually say she did not have an answer what the hell are we paying her millions of dollars for. A high school coach making $40000 would have an answer

Nared 7 turnovers. The three freshmen Hayes, Westbrook, and Davis had 13 between them. 28 for the game no team should ever win when they turn it over 28 times and make 7 of 15 from the foul line.
Norte Dame 69 shots Tennessee 51. We shoot 56 percent to their 48 but the shot difference was just to much to overcome.

Turnovers don't matter because we're winning😑. I said we were going to get into habit. There's no such thing as a good turnover. You still lose positions even on a dead ball TO.

That is totally ridiculous! You were probably one of those that proposed an empty stadium for the football team. Am I disappointed in the loss? Darn tooting but I support the girls rain or shine. A true fan supports. I will suggest that you should stay away,

Nared had 6 TOs against SCAR, 7 tonight. She's playing like she's tired and hurt. Maybe the minutes are catching up to her or her foot is really bothering her.

It has been taken out of context several times in the threads tonight. That answer was to a specific question which was why did they stop going inside to Mercedes. A few on here take something and run with it and try to make something out of nothing just like this answer.

28 turnovers, any many of those were unforced. I have never seen more sloppy passing and ball- handling even at a middle school game. No one to blame but the coaches

Thank You ! I watch a Louisville game don`t remember who they played. But i can tell you this Jeff Walz was all over freshmen Dana Evans for her poor play and bad turnovers.

I am shocked. Not that ND won. I knew they had a chance, slim but a chance. I am shocked that there didn't seem to be a real game plan to stop ND's momentum. They got complacent with that lead and as it dwindled there was no urgency. By the time the urgency came everyone knew what was going to happen... pass it to Russell. It has to be tough as I have said before w/ the conflicting messages. Hard to run when you have Russell in the game but when you can't get it to her, then what?

You are correct, fans should always support the players. The coaches though, that's another story.

We should have overloaded one side however holly has beat muffler FYI wen they packed it in we should have overload with our best shooter in corner and don’t say kd she don’t gaurd anybody

Then address the proper context. Why isn't the team better versed in getting the ball inside to Russell vs a zone defense? More often it was lazy or errant passes, but Russell herself gets lackadaisical as the game wears on.

Holly seems to know the problem alright; she's just clueless about how to solve it, unfortunately.

The LVs had good ball movement in the first qtr. Everybody on the floor was finding shots, not just Russell. They got ahead, then got passive, unfocused and sloppy and let ND steal the game away. They've done it before against lesser teams and managed to pull out the W. Tonight, they got whipped by a team that didn't quit.
