I'll be sure to bump this thread when we get to the FF..we were 30-6 and Elite 8 last year but lost 3 good seniors..it will take time but we will get better

I'd agree with this If you said "for one half." She was out coached the 2nd half and refused to make any adjustments. She made poor substitutions and the offense consisted of dribble for 25 seconds then shoot.

They beat the crap out of us on the boards 48 to 33 but they only shot 31 percent.

They were seriously aided by the refs crashing the boards.

If we get to the final four.. It will be the first time in 8 years ... Please please bump any and every hate holly thread on here. No one will complain.

Didn't see the game. Glad we got a win--we needed a win. Sounds like we played a strong defensive game. I don't think OSU is a top ten team: they had beaten nobody decent coming into this game. We won't beat anybody truly good with an offense that barely reaches 50 points--no three pointers. Still, we won. I'm sure Warlick is ecstatic.

The players I trust the most are Carter, Deshields, and Graves. Since we must have five to play add Russell and Nared. After those five it is a crap shoot.

We had 35 at half scored 18 in the second half.

Shot 59 percent in the first half 28 percent in the second.

Cooper only had 1 turnover. I could of sworn I saw her drive in the lane and turn it over three or four times just in the third.

The underlying reason for a lot of our difficulties is our failure to box out. They got 21 offensive rebounds, and although they only shot 31%, they got 8 more shot attempts than we did. Russell needs some serious work in learning to box out, and serious motivation to actually go after rebounds. Some of our other players (Nared, Reynolds, Cooper) were getting so lost on defense that they were in no position to box out anyway.

Okay I'm happy for the win but it should've been by a bigger margin, this team lacks consistency and they become complacent. Let's play an entire game like the first half and we are a FF team... But nevertheless congrats on the W

Should have been a 20 point win but I'll gladly take. 18 points in the second half.... 5 of our turnovers were in the third quarter. The team looked good until Carter had to go out, then it fell apart and when Carter came back in it was more of pound the ball into the floor that we had seen in previous games. The pieces are there but I just can't understand why they can't get it together and keep it together.

I tried to tell people on here not to expect too much out of Cooper before the year started and kept getting blasted for it. She can be special in time, but it's going to take time.
