We're not losing because of our guard play. We're losing because their big players are having a field day. Abiam, Welsch, and Wilson are 18-29, and they're +10 on the boards.
Middleton just can't play. Doesn't matter what the reason is, confidence or athleticism, she is just a huge liability.
Moore can help and Dunbar could be used for her skills in spots.
I see this game as a long-term changing of the guard. South Carolina has become the class of the SEC and I don't see anyone doing anything to change that anytime soon.
Lets keep it in perspective though. I'm not trying to poop on South Carolina but this is the same team UConn throttled by 20+. They and the rest of the SEC are still trying to play 1990s style women's basketball. There is room in he conference for an offensive minded coach using the Uconn guard/passing mode of offense to dominate even South Carolina.
