An ugly game for us with mostly lousy defense and no commitment to rebounding, but at least we didn't fold like we would have done a year ago. We have some things to fix before the SEC season begins. Our weak bench was exposed again as well.

Nared was fabulous most of the night made a lot of plays. Everytime they got close she would make a defensive play. I love this team wanted this one badly haven't won here in a while.

Nared was close to a record game. Westbrook scored 17-- new high for her. Lot to clean up, but on to UK! LVs should finish 2017 unbeaten.

Yes but we seldom do it in close games so tonight was surprised we decided to do it.

We'll have more energy at UK this game was the end of being on the road for over a week I would be ready to get out of California and the hotels myself.

They were physically beating us on the boards and the refs let them ..... one time Fingall ran from foul line and knocked two Tennessee players down got the rebound and scored and the reff just watched!!!
We were lucky to escape without injuries 😁

Did Jaime & Mercedes play the entire 40 minutes? Sounded like we only played 8, and if so it's a shame the other 2 can't work their way in. What happened with Meme? Was she well defended - I was hoping she'd go off with 3's again. Not complaining - happy they go home with 2 wins

Glad we won. Haven't looked at the stat sheet yet but it feels like we were very fortunate Stanford couldn't shoot. They seemed to miss some bunnies and their outside shot looked pretty bad. One girl looked to me like she air balled a free throw. Had they been competent shooters, we may have lost. Their lack of shooting didn't seem to me to be a product of our good defense. Rather they were getting some good looks and just weren't good shooters.

On the other hand in the second half the referees were back to their usual selves. One play the Stanford player got an offensive rebound by shoving not one but TWO Lady Vols in the back. You could see their bodies fly as a result of an obvious foul. The referee swallows the whistle but proceeded to call us for any contact even if Stanford initiated it.

DOnt just say two players it was Dunbar rebound and she got outtebound and we wonder why smh
