I’ve seen some, read some, and followed all of the box scores. I can derive details of performance from that. What is a shame is that there are people on this board that are criticizing posters while imparting absolutely nothing of substance to the forum.

You can't deduct a whole lot from the box score except overall performance. A layup looks just like a ten footer, so you can't tell if it's the same old pound it inside like last year. That takes watching the games which I have and you admit you haven't. I stand by what I said. Don't care whether you think I add to the board or not, but I at least watch them play and know what the team is doing instead of trying to deduct what they're doing. If they need to be criticized, I have no problem with that, but people need to at least do it from knowledge and not guessing.

We have seen that combination in the first two games.

Young team, build yo concepts, build yo philosophy, Holly, teach your team, and one the great thing is the big lineup will come in handy, and let's not forget it's about who's on the court when the game is on the line too.

Starters...?

Plus, I see a team that grows a lil bit, each game, player progression so far has been, wuteva (London solid) still a young season, when we become a confident team, we will be a good team, but as a team the Lady Vols are getting better. They responded in the 4th, young team on the road.

Westbrook we need her, she has to play. We need to find out if she's a player or not, jury still out, my biggest gripe is the turnovers. If she cleans up her turnover, then immediately she's a better player.

It does feel like the players that we are all cheering for to do great things for the Lady Vole are not doing it or giving us the performance that we know will get us back to where we want to be each game, it's like the ladies we are counting on are not looking like the best players on the floor for long stretches.

So, we wait and debate lol.

Most of what I see is a team with very little experience and a lot of talent. By the end of the season this will be a different team. We are all human and these girls are playing but they lack instinct because they are new. I would rather be who we are today than most teams. When Jordan gets here we will be legitimate contenders. Evina is not the PG that will take us over the top. She however is a great talent, she just doesn’t have the demeanor for PG. this team is still finding their way. When they hit their groove we will be hard to beat.

1-25 teams this year are balance, meaning that it's hard to tell who's in the right direction to win the championship. Our vols needs to show up every day to fight, no matter the kind of team.

ESPN list the start at 1 pm CST could be wrong or right. This tourney has been a lot of problems from keeping score to very poor officiating. I wish the start was 12:15 cst as football game is at three.

Yeah. I hear ya. I don't refer to her as the point guard, rather than the lead guard of the team.

I hear ya, her trajectory is not on the same as level Dena, Michelle, Kelly, Kara, Shannon, point guard who led us to Championships or the game at this junction in her career.

She's just not a confident player, and when your lead guard has confident issues sometimes it trickles down to the whole team.

When she plays like she belongs, like she one of the best players in the country against quality competition, and get her head right, and get mentally tough, maybe we'll see that player sooner than later, we would be a great team, Lady Vols talk a good game but the proof is in the play!

Yes, we don't have a mental giant at the lead guard position, but hopefully she can grow into it, but her turnovers and defense needs to get better until she gets her head right.

Davis has been my wuteva? Playa? Sometimes you forget she's on the court.

None of our players are at an elite level nor do I think any of them can get there. I’m hoping Horston will be that player for us by her Sophmore year or Z Green next year.

Green is the only one that I can see being a solid scorer from the guard position right now once she’s matured. You need quickness to be successful in Women’s College Basketball these days, especially with the way the game is being called.
