I think down the road we may be in trouble with depth. We basically have 3 bench players(not counting Harris).
Middleton - Can dribble and pass the ball, but limited offensively and defensively against all teams except cupcakes.
Dunbar - Still limited by the foot injury??
Nunn - Could end up being the difference we need, but is she limited by injury also??
Harris - Project - All games will probably be close the remaining of the season, especially with the starters being up and down, so basically no minutes.
The sad thing is we have about the same talent and depth as UCONN, but the difference is night and day with the offense, defense, fundamentals, confidence and of course coaching.
Dunbar just isn't at the same caliber as the level of competition she's playing against. She understands her role, and that's to give breathers when necessary, and to knock down treys (which her % has been dismal this season to be honest.)
Harris was a pickup to give us extra coverage in the post if injury was to occur.
I agree with the previous poster in that Middleton doesn't always need to score. AS long as she is distributing, and taking care of the ball I'm fine! Any additional offensive output we get from her is an added bonus.
Very impressed with Jreynolds. Someone must of lit a fire under her ass over the break! Just hope it continues to burn brighter!
