 On Feb. 4, 2016, Holly Warlick became the 17th
coach in NCAA DI history to reach 100 career wins
in her fi rst four seasons as an NCAA Division I head
coach, as the Lady Vols defeated Arkansas, 75-57.
 Warlick became only the sixth coach since
1992 to reach 100 wins and joined Kristy Curry
(Purdue, 1999-2003/now at Alabama) as the only
Power Five coaches in the past 24 years to win 100
in their fi rst four years.
 Warlick was the seventh fastest in the number
of days to reach 100, doing so in 1,182. The only
others arrving faster were Sonja Hogg, Louisiana
Tech (1107); Jody Conradt, Texas (1128); Leon
Barmore, Louisiana Tech (1131); Matt Bollant, Wisconsin-GreenBay (1163); Andy Landers, Georgia
(1170); Karl Smesko, Florida Gulf Coast (1174).
 Warlick had the second most wins by a Power
Five coach in their fi rst four seasons only trailing
Jody Conradt (Texas, 1982-86), who had 125 wins.
 Warlick ranks second in most wins in her fi rst
four seasons in the past 25 years, trailing only
Matt Bollant (Wisconsin-Green Bay, 2007-11) who
notched 116 wins in his first four years at the helm
of the Phoenix.
Lady Vols by 15!
My husband and I try every year to make it to one away game. The way the schedule was this year Vandy is it. Any tips on what to expect there. Any dining tips? We will be staying close to the arena
Demo's is good. Can walk to it from arena/downtown hotels. It will be packed. They will also provide take out of the food. Lots of times we order it to pick up the day we leave and have it for supper when we get home (their pans will feed 6-8 people!).
I live in the Murfreesboro area and will be at the game tomorrow night! Our perimeter defense is going to have to be spot on. Vanderbilt reminds me in certain ways of PSU and Va. Tech. They better get their scouting right.
I'm sitting in the F section behind Tennessee's bench. Does anyone know if this is for sure the "visitor section" per say? Can't seem to get a straight answer.
Oops! You're right, VP. I was just automatically going to the SECT.Demo's is downtown & too far to walk from Vandy's gym (on 25th), and it's going to be cold out! Maybe you are thinking of the arena used for the SEC Tourney when it's in Nashville, which is downtown? Demo's IS great, but it's not within walking distance from Vandy. The good news is there are plenty of places to eat around Vandy. A traditional spot to check out is Rotiers, for burgers or chilly.
I just ran down to the ticket office & got tickets for tomorrow night. It looks like they are not seating people in the 2d or 3rd tier??? Still plenty of seats in Section F (UT bench section). Their attendance must be really down this year. I know they are rebuilding.
Diamond, Mercedes & Nared are all avg 15pts or better that's the first time a lady vols trio have did this since the 3 Meeks.
Thanks for sharing that info Teejay.

BIG THREE EYEING MARK OF THREE MEEKS
◾ Only one time in Tennessee women's basketball history has there been a season end with three Lady Vols averaging 15.0 points per game.
◾ The 1997-98 campaign featured the "Three Meeks," including junior Chamique Holdsclaw (23.5) and freshmen Tamika Catchings (18.2) and Semeka Randall (15.9), accomplishing that feat.
◾ This season, the junior trio of Mercedes Russell (16.8), Diamond DeShields (15.8) and Jaime Nared (15.4) will attempt to become the second group to hit that mark.
I like J. Alexanders and Amerigo. There is also Bricktops but the first two are my favorites. There are lots of choices. My husband and I try every year to make it to one away game.
