What a choke job by he coaches...still can't believe they changed the defense up so much at the end 2 runs up!!!! should have kept it the same as it was the 4th and the 5th!!! Coaches cost themselves an sec championship!!!

That sux. Three outs away with a 2-run lead and can't close it out. Uggh. Reminds me of that brutal oklahoma loss in the championship series a couple of years ago.

They change it up like they did quite often. A lot of teams go to their "defensive specialists" in the bottom of the 7th. It isn't the first time the Weakly's have done it and it won't be the last. Give McClain a break...she made a mistake. Great tourney from the Lady Vols. Keep it up and get to the WS!

The Weekly's need to evaluate what they are doing with these timely position changes. Way to many errors. They should be celebrating instead of crying right now. I agree with the previous poster about this loss being on the coaches. Erin Gabriel pitched a great game. This one will sting for a little while

No need to beat a dead horse over the error in the 7th. The young lady feels worse than any fan possibly could. Move on to Regionals

It wasn't on her dropping the ball it was on the coaches for making the substitutions in the first place you don't put a player in the game who has sat the bench the whole game!!

I would love a 9 seed. Your most likely opponent in super regionals is FSU or Louisiana-Lafayette. Lafayette has a strong fan base so it would be the tougher venue.

I think Florida, Oregon, LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Michigan, UCLA, and FSU will be the top 8 seeds. We could conceivably move ahead of either UCLA or FSU but not likely.

If could be good for us to be the 8 or 9 seed because we would end up playing each other anyway. I think we could beat FSU at their home.

Did we not beat FSU this year? I think we deserve the 8 seed. Hell we just almost beat 3 top 10 teams in 3 days.

I didn't see much of the game, but baseball coaches do that all of the time. Regardless of sitting the bench, you put your strongest fielders in late in the game.

Never have understood that philosophy. Why put a player in who has sat the bench the whole game and not thrown or caught a ball for a couple of hours?
