This was a good comeback effort by Tennessee all around. They upped their defense and hit their open shots. Not much more to ask for in terms of how they responded in the 2nd half.

Stop holding the ball and play. This is how they lose these close games. Play like you did to get the lead. Don't just hold the ball and hope you can win.

Yeah, I agree UConn will be scary good next season. At least we will have a more realistic chance of getting to the Final Four if Diamond DeShields does return. I think the guard play will be much better.

The zone kind of stopped their layups and their threes were not dropping tonight. We were shooting threes as well as we done all season.

Really nice interview by Diamond with Steffi Sorenson discussing how she wants to bring this program back to the top and will do whatever it takes to get there.

For the rest of the season we need to give Reynolds some five hour energy before the game. She did nothing in the first half and was a dynamo in the second.

If MR and DD come back and Tennessee does not make the FF, then Holly deserves to be fired on the spot.

I'm hoping that UConn has chemistry issues next year. Collier and Williams were so good this year, and now they have to share minutes with Camara and Stevens. I hope this backfires on them.

I believe Diamond will come back because she is going to have more help than she could ever imagine and Russell will too. They want have to play the minutes they did this year because we have some players coming in that can play defense and score.

Glad they won. Hopefully Holly will be able to hear the ideas of those 2 old, experienced coaches. They were 100% correct.

I don't know that HW should be fired if they come back but that would enter my mind as well.

I'm so tired of these analyst! You can't constantly force the ball to Russell. Teams know that's the game plan and will constantly sag. Plus Russell needs to be a bit more aggressive sometimes she gets lazy and plays to soft! People constantly criticize DeShields, but sometimes Russell does not give her all. Why force the ball to her if she's not going to finish strong.

Let's be realistic. They were great tonight, but they can't expect to shoot 52% from deep game in, game out. He'll, even Jordan was 2-2. I nearly left for Church after the 2nd one, expecting that the end of the world was imminent.

Lady vols and uconn will have the same amount of talent next year if both DD & MR stay but I'll give lady vols the edge because they have diamond & uconn don't.

Ok let's be realistic we beat every zone we played expect in the beginning of year. South Carolina went zone.. we beat it. Lsu only played zone .. mizzouri did too.. Florida .notre Dane Kentucky I can go on

They didn't need to pound the ball inside because they were hot from outside. God knows we've seen enough games from them where they kept firing from outside when nothing was falling, so I do agree with Nell and Andy to a degree.

We might as well accept it. UCONN will be the team to beat until Geno retires. They will have more weapons to go along with Samuelson. Going for 100 straight wins is insane.
