Lost 4-3. I have to say that the call at 3rd killed us. Ralph is a hell of a lot better man than I am because that dumb ump would have to had thrown me out of the stadium. BLATANT CALL FOR THE HOME TEAM!!

Holcomb steps out every single time. And they're going to call it every time in Athens. They work with her every week and she can't adjust. Either she walks or she's out. Putting her in the 2 spot just kills momentum.

Winning tonight would have taken some of the pressure off tomorrow. Now it's win or go home.

Anything wrong with McSwain tonight? I expected her to pinch hit for Holcomb or Lockman in the 7th inning. Figure something must wrong with her.

Since we have health problems every week may be her turn. I would have thought she would be the DP with the lefty pitching but Hailey gave it the ole college try.
As most of the time the best team top to bottom wins and when the ump is pro home team that is what happened tonight and will continue to do so.:stinker2:

She sure does and Mcclain did tonight but did not get called. Ever since we went back to MG hitting 3rd rather than 2nd we have sucked like a big orange.

Wouldn't be surprised to see McSwain in for Holcomb tomorrow. And maybe Weimer in for Lockman. Ally Shipman can't get here soon enough.

That rule change is unfortunate for Holcomb. She was great in the 2 till they started calling it. Now the umps are watching her feet, because she's out of the box every AB.

If she is not all stove up!! Yep catching/hitting has been a mess since at least Overstreet. We put our chips all on Annie Aldrete and she did well that freshman year but nearly had a nervous breakdown over her friends suicide. That was what hurt us I think but we have been weak there for a while. We need some HR hitters cause those two tonight was the difference in a win and a lose.

Ralph will be shuffling batters like a dealer tomorrow to try and get a win. After the two HRs, Arnold held their big bats in check-- she just didn't get enough run support. The rally started too late and some batters couldn't get anything going.

No matter who wins this Super Regional not getting very far in the World Series. A pitcher we should've scored a lot of runs on held us scoreless for five innings. We can still win this can't expect to do it with three runs need to score about 8. Win today survive and advance.

Hate to admit it but everything points that they are as we've lost 3 of 4 to them and they finished higher in the SEC standings than we did.
We have to prove we can beat them and today is the last chance.

Our offense forgot to leave Knoxville. Northwestern hit their pitching better than we have they didn't have any pitching to stop Georgia.

Yeah we're 100% going to lose. Golden opportunity with the bases loaded, only one out, Gregg batting, and she grounds into a double play. Not going to get another chance like that one.

We have zero hits against their #3 pitcher through 5 innings. I'm beginning to wonder if the Weeklys have peaked. This team is not well coached.

Moss pitching a good game and we can't get any runs. Northwestern got four off this pitcher before they took her out. We need Northwestern's hitters to get us some runs today.
