Overstreet with the big, bases-loaded double that we so badly needed. She's had two good at bats--the first a walk that drove in our first run.

Bad call at home, she definitely touched the plate. Unforgivable to not have a replay for viewing in these important regional games. One run loss over something this easy to correct is bogus!! We may or may not need it this game but that type of BS call will cost some team between now and the WS a chance to win it all. You play the whole season to get to this tournament and then a screwball umpire who is most of the time irrelevant to show his ugly head. Matters not who the team is!!!!!

Talking about screwball calls....some umps don't even know where the strike zone is & calls strikes in the other batter's box. I hate watching softball games at times because of the umps.

If you've ever met an NCAA umpire the one I've met used to do high school games and then graduated to NCAA games. Not someone you would call the sharpest tack in the room. Nice guy but he was someone who was absolutely oblivious most of the time to things going on around him. I always wondered how that translated into an umpire. He had a government job by day so could get a lot of time off.
