Texas A&M 6 Auburn 4 right now top of the eighth Auburn still has to bat so far from a win.

Jeff I may have assumed redshirt but I know she was not going to pitch. Just really don't understand unless Morrison has some type of injury the reason she is not pitching this year. If that was the case you would think maybe a medical redshirt. Still seems strange to me to pinch hit her with only one at bat all year.

I will take the win even if for 6 innings we looked lost.

Kentucky and Bama both won we held pace by winning so bring on the next game. Hopefully Auburn loses.

Believe those runs are Unearned....but what a game by the lady vols!!....Not a fan of the Ole Miss pitching coach no matter how beautiful she is....I'll never forget what she did

Wow ....what a 7th inning !! Ralph said in after game interview that Lady Vols did not come to play ....were flat...but he was proud of the win and hopes they come out to play tomorrow from the git go.

Yep...Moss was the victim of shortstop and 2nd base errors...both runs were unearned. I'm still thinking the Lady Vols will go as far as their defense lets them...pitching is good enough to stay in every game. Good night for Vines hitting 2nd in the order...Leach had a tough night at the plate and an error at 2nd...but she'll bounce back tomorrow...would be my "pick to click"

Now this is what I call a good inning at bat:

TENNESSEE - TOP OF 7TH
M. Gregg homered to left field, RBI (2-1)
M. Geer homered to right field, RBI (3-2)
L.Overstreet homered to right center, RBI (2-2)
R. Gaffin walked (3-1)
G. Aucoin reached on a fielder's choice (0-0); R. Gaffin out at second 2b to ss
S. Geathers homered to center field, 2 RB

If Geathers can break out of her slump it will really go a long way towards helping the team. Having a dangerous bat in the 8 or 9-spot really screws up the opposing pitcher.

Not necessarily. If Florida takes the next two from Arkansas, Auburn takes the next two from A&M, Alabama takes the next two from UGA, and Kentucky takes the next two from MSU, the standings look like this:

Florida.........20-4
Auburn........17-6
Alabama......17-7
Kentucky......17-7
Tennessee....16-7

Thanks..math was never my best subject :)...we have won 8 of 9 in the SEC so I like our chances
