Tough loss. After the Georgia series I had high hopes. I know LSU is the #1 team in the land, but first Auburn, now LSU, and Alabama coming up, this LV team better suck it up.

Aucoin should be benched for a while until she shows that she can throw strikes. She has been walking people all year. R. Weekly was PO'd with her after the game; I believe she came in in relief, with the Vols behind 4-2, then walked the first two batters she faced, hit the next one, and LSU scored 3 in the inning to go up 7-2. There is no excuse for it. She's been a disappointment. Gabriel doesn't have it either--some improvement this year, but good teams hit her and she is lucky to go three innings in an SEC game. Our pitching is our undoing this year; we just don't have it.

I tried to find some info on Aucoin from last year,I think her ERA was .243.which isn't bad at all,but i couldn't find out anything about her control,i couldn't find anything about how many she walked

Will we win a game? I think I am starting Gaffin hoping she can go five innings and then go with everybody else for a couple outs a piece.

If I was pitching, I'd throw what the hell I wanted when I wanted and the coach could kiss my hiney.... cuz I'm just that aways! lol.

Aucoin is killing the team with her walks. It is a cardinal rule for pitchers: You can't walk people, and she does it constantly.

Ralph was as upset as I've ever seen him after Saturday's game. He's normally a very positive guy, but Saturday he was mad.
