Watching Edie Darby, I think she may be close to Kaiya Wynn as a defensive stopper. She has a tendency to overplay the defense at times resulting in letting her player get by her. She just needs some seasoning to learn the time to "overplay" and the time to keep her player in front of her.

Time out 82-61 about four minutes left. First game so room for improvement. We really have upgraded depth and talent. Hope we can work on a few things and whoop so SEC teams. We have a heckuva tough schedule coming up.

Tennessee's depth will be a factor In close games. Wynn is having another excellent showing. I don't think Tennessee has had a shooter like Spear during Coach Harper's tenure. Striplin is having a great night as well. Offense is ahead of defense but I think that is expected. Team looked good and played hard.

Great game for Karo, she played a really nice game on both ends of the floor today.

Those Florida A&M girls kept thinking they could take her, Karo is a brick wall. She got a lot of experience last season, really impressed with her strength.

1-0 on season. Listened to much of game. Played alot of players as usual building deep bench. Spears was fantastic in 1st half. If I am correct Rice said they returned every starter from NCAA tournament team. Like playing good mid major teams that have some players. On to Tallahassee. In CHRIST Alone
