Jewel seems slow as the rest of our players. But maybe that's hesitency more than lack of foot speed.

She kind of disappeared this summer in Mexico too.

Hard to understand what happened to her. She average 17 a game at Wake Forest hit 7 threes against Louisville when they beat them. She has regressed here at Tennessee. Powell is not playing as well as she did at Minnesota. Wells way below what she was doing at Belmont. Only player that seems to be getting better is Karoline.

Rick Insel is a very, very good coach. The announcers made sure everyone knew he was outcoaching the bejeezus out of poor KJH.
MTSU is a solid team.

I didn't bother watching the last half of the fourth quarter. I knew exactly what was going to happen and it did. The fact is we are trying to win the derby with a couple of mules and a plow horse or two. We have some fine young women on this team but they are not the athletes you need to win these days. The game has outgrown those type of ball players and we haven't kept up. As much as everyone is upset now, there will not be any changes made until after the season if changes are to be made. We have what we have and must live with it for now.

Well I didn’t get to watch the game because I wasn’t going to hand ESPN $10 but I listened to the 4th qtr on the mtsu station and kept hearing her name attached to missed shots and turnovers.
