With the LVs team, not just this one, but others before, you can see the exact moment when they really don't want to play anymore. They hang their heads and their shoulders droop...just like their coach does on the sideline. I don't know how many times I've seen Warlick throw her arms up as if to say "I don't know why we're playing so bad?" She is completely clueless on the sidelines, no motivation whatsoever. So when the team goes into a slump, they can't look on the sidelines and see a motivating factor, just more shoulder shrugging. That's not gonna win championships or get you deeper into the NCAA tournament!

I tried to be nice at the beginning of the season but Holly couldn’t be a pimple on a good coach’s rear end. I think she is a good person, however, that does not transcend into a good coach. Holly just does seem to have the ability to push these ladies to consistently do their best.

They could win out. We've seen how well they can play. But they're sloppy, unfocused and lack mental toughness. They don't play with the heart and competitive drive it takes to win consistently at a high level. A loss to a better team is one thing, but rolling over to less talented teams because they don't feel like giving the effort that night has gotten tiresome to watch.

Doubt he cares. Phil seems to have accepted that losing to Alabama no matter what sport it is..is just something we do.

We were ranked and Bama unranked this past week...and they STILL hammered us in mens and womens bball.

Doesn't matter. The whole athletic department quakes with fear when they see that fancy "A".

And for all the arrogant UCONN fans, the minute Geno leaves, it will be even worse for them. Dreadful conference, little school in Cow-town USA, average campus, nothing to do there, etc etc... their time will come.

Because Bama was either on probation or having historic program lows for most of Fulmer’s tenure. They had a 3 win and a 4 win season in that stretch. He was never, ever going to beat Saban.

The players are heartbroken that there is never anything useful the coach can offer to help them believe that they are in good hands.

We all keep saying that but whoever they hire is going to have a whole bunch of good players to start. If they’re a good coach, unlike Holly, UConn may continue to be really good.

Holly Warlick can’t coach and never will be able to coach. Anyone who still defends her is a complete and utter moron.

I disagree about the future of LVs. They can return to an elite status with a good coach. They still have good talent, and more coming in next year. The Miss St AD hired Vic Schaefer from TA&M, he was an assistant to Blair. Fullmer needs to exercise the same wisdom and stop living in a fool's paradise with Holly.

Next year will be a rebuilding year for Tennessee. They will be a very young team and will have no proven inside presence.

She may have stretches where she disappears, but Mercedes still commands so much defensive attention that it opens things up for her teammates. They won't have that next year, and it will hurt.

I just got on here after watching the tape and we darn may win out but we most likely will LOSE OUT!!
Worse performance i have seen ever out of the LVs. Curry out coached warlock again and will every time she wants too. Would just as soon see the black guy who was so animated running the show as what we have!
By the way who is that cat?

I agree with comments about next year, however this does not rule out a return to an elite status, year after next, with a competent coach.

This is the best team Tennessee has had since the days of Glory/Shekinna. If Holly can only muster middle of the pack in the SEC with this roster, I have zero reason to think she'll do better without a dominant inside presence.

She's not going anywhere, but it will be interesting to see what happens next year...

Pathetic performance! there is no way to defend this at all.

As far as her getting fired i don't know if that will actually happen, i suspect that they might just let her contract run out instead. i definitely don't want to hear another news of a raise and extension.
