So we split the regular season series with the Lady Razorbacks winning one game pretty handily. We seem to have gotten our mo-jo back the final regular season game against Georgia.

If we play like that no way we lose this first game for us in the SEC tourney. I'm going to predict Lady Vols 70 Lady Razorbacks 58. GO LADY VOLS!

Jimmy Dykes is going to play a zone and we have shown we cannot guard Arkansas's best player...the worst thing that happened to us was losing that first game against them that showed them they could play with us and gave them confidence....with that said I have no idea which lady vol team shows up

I had the LV's pegged at 18 wins in the regular season, one in the SEC, and one in the dance for a total of 20. They will have to win 2 in the SEC to get back on pace. If Holly lets them run on O and presses full court on D, they can accomplish that and more. But she has not proven to be able to remember that they win games that way for more than one or two games in a row all season. Will see.

If we play like we did Sunday, Arkansas has little if any chance. We have to extend the momentum we started in the Georgia game. We have to attack and be relentless. We proved what we are capable of Sunday. I know the coaching has been less than stellar, but Sunday proved it has some upsides. In addition, we have to stop this throw it inside first offense and allow Diamond D to do what she does best, make plays. We must play to win and not play not to lose or we will defeat ourselves.

In many ways I feel that the LV's have a chance to redeem themselves with a substantial run in the SEC Tourney and a good showing in the NCAAs. However, failure to reach our preseason forecast, zero recruits for 2016, lack of player buy in, bad or non existent chemistry, and bad coaching may be too much to help Coach Holly get this team within 10 miles of the elite level.

That would be Jessica Jackson and you're right, she used the LV basketball team as her own personal hand-puppet.

It'll be zone + a spread offense + Jackson + the quick guards.

maybe they have finally gotten the big head knocked out of them and will stop thinking they can win without effort.

I just watched on youtube UCONN's Senior Day. I must say it is very impressive what they are doing, on the verge of 4 Nat'l Championships, wow. Is there another coach out there other than Geno who could accomplish such a feat? Does he really recruit the best players or is he just a great coach? Being a LV fan I am very jealous.

He doesn't recruit just the best, he recruits players who play the type of basketball that is conducive to his system. He isn't afraid to take on a 3 star prospect if they do what his coaching staff needs them to do because he knows he can coach them into 5 star players by the time they leave Uconn.

What 3-star UCONN recruit became a star? Just wondering...

I had to do some research for this one.
It seems that Jennifer Rizzotti was not a very highly sought after recruit coming out of high school (estimated>100).
She went on to be an AP player of the year at Connecticut.

The Vols problem is not "the big head" but a lack of confidence and swagger. We've been missing both for years. I had to shake my head at Cooper making the SEC All Freshman team. She has talent and potential--but she's not had a good year, and yet this citation makes it appear as though she has.
