It astounds me that there are those who will defend Holly no matter what, but don't think anything of throwing 19 and 20 year old girls under the bus. If a player is not doing what she is suppose to, it is up to the coach to fix it. Who recruited these players who some say are not that good? Who is responsible for developing these young ladies into college level players?

When your coaches offense is telling you just to drive to the basket, what confidence does that give you. If a leader takes troops into battle and has no idea what he/she is doing, the soldiers will be in disarray and each try to win the war in their own way. I don't see a bunch of selfish ball hogs out there, I see players trying to win without an idea of how to do it. Whether you think they should already now that or not is irrelevant, it is up to the coaches to make sure they do.

I'm setting this up in a separate post. Blast me all you want. Holly Warlick is s grown woman who should have known what it takes to lead the Lady Vols. Those kids are college athletes who thought they were going to go to a great basketball school with coaches who could train and develop them into national champions. Looks like they were fooled, right along with many of us.

I finally got to watch a replay of the game,even though ESP lost me 10 to 15 minutes of the 2nd half :)

they got off to a great start and then slowly the poor shooting kicked in,again,then I noticed that they started making bad passes to the interior and when Russell and Graves were open,nobody got them the ball and for heavens sake,somebody learn in the post to get into position and block out under the rim,Russell isn't doing anybody any favors being out at the foul line and then trying to run back and get into position for a rebound,if your going to do that,put Graves out there instead

i would have liked to see both Middleton and Dunbar get some more playing time,at least enough to get them into the flow of the game,Nared is improving but she still looks a bit rusty,Deshields had an off night on the long shots,Carter was hitting a few 3's,but she passed up on a lot of wide open 3's and didn't take the shot,she needs more confidence shooting and why not attack Fla.'s post players ? they were in serious foul trouble

the Lady Vols could have won this game with some better game execution and hitting some shots,they were in position to hit a better percentage of there shots,but didn't

oh well :)

I know everyone will roll their eyes, but the LV's defense is what got them beat. They were ahead 20-9 and then Florida scored 65 points in the next 30+ minutes. That's a basket a minute. Florida scored on almost every possession after that. The LV's were beaten down court play after play.

This team is poor in all facets of the game - the offense is the most glaring, but defense and rebounding are also poor.

it was like they let up on the gas while on Defense,which they usually get better as the game goes along,Cooper was way out of position on defense a lot,I think she is getting way to minutes,she doesn't get back on D like she should,of course she isn't the only one either :)

We took the game off, we played one quarter of basketball. Baashaara and Draya played the hardest for the longest but the rest, they took the nite off.

should have played jones moore & Jackson more. maybe they would have run the floor better than Russell & nared. Can't put any blame on my sweet KD, lol, because she didn't have many minutes at all.

Jones didn't play at all. Auburn had a Jasmine Jones but ours was still in sweat pants.
