Sometimes a loss is the best thing that can happen when a win just delays the inevitable and prolongs the suffering.

Suppose for instance Dooley had won an additional game and kept his job longer, that would have been the absolute worst thing that could have happened. It was the worst case scenario. He had already failed to recruit enough offensive linemen and the cupboard was about to be completely bare at that position (sound familiar).

The problem is that people have different opinions about when you have reached the point where a loss is better for the long term health of the program than a win would be. But it isn't hard to understand the sentiment.

Tried to tell yall don't sleep on Green Bay....with that said....our offense is still terrible but Holly will say nothing about it in the post game interview

At least the 20 wins for forty years is safe for another year. Arizona State will probably beat the crap out of us but glad we get to play.

One word .....fortunate.Neither coaching nor playing deserved the win ,,,,but take it and move on.Same play against Arizona State will not cut the mustard.
