This team is getting tougher--nice to see. Carter's excellent defense (as opposed to Massengale's) has made a big difference on the defensive end.

Simmons had a bad tourney but she made a huge layup and all her free throws down the stretch. Wonder why people keep pounding her she has been a winner for Tennessee. Her last tourney that is why she got the interview.

Haven't been to the Final Four in five years.

Reynolds. What an under the radar player. I know she was McDonalds but all the talk was about Russell. Reynolds is a gem.

It wasn't a foul but she shouldn't have even got that close to her if she makes it time runs out.

The play I hated was the in bounds with six seconds. You never throw the ball into front court you can throw it into the back court and that is what we should have tried to do. Even if they get it makes it hard to get to the basket and score before times runs out.

Championship Game I would not blame KY or TN if they filed formal complaints regarding the officiating. The officials on the floor should be reprimanded and given time off for one year. All of them were equally off today and completely controlled the outcome....which could have gone either way.

Yeah, I saw that. But, like you said, it wasn't a foul. That's the unsettling thing that a call like that was completely blown in a game this close with less than a second left.

Serious question, who certifies these refs, is there just no accountability for their actions, can they be this bad and just keep on working with no liability attached?

There are a lot of players on a team she is only one of them. The team hasn't been in five years may not go this year either doesn't make what she has accomplished any less. She isn't the best player to ever play for Tennessee but she is in the top ten we've won a lot of games because of her play.

I agree. Burdick has made bad inbound passes before.

What I noticed from the refs today is they were really making calls out of position. Like the last call on Burdick the ref who should have made the call who was under the basket was in position but the ref out top blew the whistle and he had bad position.

Great game in spite of some shoddy officiating! Great job Lady Vols. Jordan Reynolds what a freshman!!!:dance2::dance2::dance2:

We don't have the best talent in WCBB were in the top ten but several teams have better talent. No one can match UConn's talent and Notre Dame is a close second. On paper Duke is third and have underachieved dramatically. Kentucky put four five star players on the floor today they have a lot of talent. Baylor has top ten talent as does Stanford. The winner of the National Championship will be Notre Dame or UConn I don't see anyone else winning it all.

I agree. Those two teams have sharpened their teeth on each other the last 5 years. That has hurt Tennessee for awhile the SEC being down somewhat.

That's what CHW and staff are recruiting now....where a recruit ranks now doesn't matter to them...look at Dunbar, Middleton, and Nared just girls that don't like to lose and play very hard...the girl from Blackmon for next year is a beast

I was a little upset when Holly took Reynolds out I didn't understand that move we still won. She not only scores her passing is excellent.
