Spani had 3 easy chances to drive all the way to basket in early going and she pulled up on all three and missed shots. No toughness at all. She and Simmons just wilt under pressure. I blame Warlick in part--coaches can build tough players.

Someone tell our players to actually leave the ground to get a rebound. They don't box out and they stand flat footed.

They are going to break a 1st half record on turnovers, or total trips with the ball without attempting a shot. Turnovers, charges, and now a 3 second violation.

I'm calling it now. The fix is in. If they can't have Baylor in the final 4, they want the team that beat Baylor so they can mention Baylor. They've called charges that weren't charges. They've called touch fouls on the Lady Vols that weren't fouls. Ariel has two fouls that weren't fouls. Then they seek out a 3 second on Izzy that was awful as well. Granted we're not playing well, but the refs are helping seal the deal.

They didn't overlook Louisville. We just have some players who are very soft mentally and physically. You don't expect to see that in UT players but that's what we've got. We've been in just about every big game we've played for two or three years.

Embarrassing display of coaching and player effort.
- UT should play zone the entire game b/c we can't defend their speed 1 on 1
- Rebounding is about desire and we have none.
- We have no floor general and it shows.

This is pretty typical for UT in the tournament in recent years. They lost this game before they came out of the locker room. Everyone of them is out there panicking and thinking they are going to lose instead of taking it a play at a time and competing. They are tentative instead of aggressive.

This sort of thing is embarrassing but for some reason I cannot fathom it is an ingrained part of our program now and Holly needs to expunge it.

It is OK to lose. It is not OK to lay down like this.

Long way to go. TN definitely stumbling right now. I think they will hit their stride in the 2nd half and pull out a close one. We have got to feed the ball into the post and rebound on both ends. Block out and get the ball. C'mon Vols wake up and act like you want it!!
