I still think the problem with this team was naming Holly the coach when she wasnt qualified. They should have went out and paid for a real coach. I get the whole Pat coaching tree. But its time to look at the big picture and realize that the game has changed and its time to go outside the coaching tree and get a young energetic coach who can recruit and make players want to play for them. It takes more than the Lady Vols name to recruit these days.

Pat did coach similar players to these. The difference was that Pat corrected turnovers and careless play. Pat taught defense and expected players to deliver….or else. Pat also developed structure on offense where everyone was on the same page.

Difference is all of Pats players would smoke these girls with athleticism.

What we are seeing is the culmination of what the coaching of each of these teams has produced over the course of a season. LSU looks like they know what they are doing. They know their roles. They look like they have played together before and aren't a bunch of strangers picked up as day labor at Home Depot.

Our team never knows who will be on the floor or what they are supposed to be doing. Did you see Kim take responsibility for having the wrong lineup to close a half because they were not familiar with what to do in that situation? Such a thought never crosses Kellie's mind.

Kim also mentioned that UT finally figured out they couldn't play man against LSU, but I guarantee Kellie will go back to it at some point in the second half.

Hopefully we can turn things around at the half. Hard to play much worse than we did in the first half.

Pat was a perfectionist and she didn't tolerate anything less hurt feelings or not

Actually Holly was not a bad option the downfall is not really holding players accountable. Regardless of their ranking actually investing in players fundamentals and connecting them with trainers or former players to help align these players.!!! Coaches are scared to coach and actually discipline these players. Hell Pat sat Candice Parker for not following rules for peak sake kellie just squats and look on as a spectator.!!!!! Even though lsu is up Kim was coaching her players on the bench like wth

I just wonder what Kara Lawson would have been like as coach instead of Duke. Ive always liked her. But she may have flopped as well.

But, but, but… if we as fans only contributed to the BoosterClub to generate the funds to promise elite recruits great NIL deals, we would get all the recruits on our list. Kellie’s inability to coach at an elite level has NOTHING to do with recruiting woes…. etc, etc

Did Kellie not bench Rickea for two games, including a big one we could've won at home against Va. Tech?

Look I wouldn't care , I would put lil Darby in to guard Morris...or Miles or Wynn or that person in the concession stand . Go Vols

I heard Rickea yell "she's pushing her" about how Reese is rebounding. Which is OBVIOUS, yet Striplin gets the foul.
