They all need to work on it. And anybody who tries to throw a one handed, sloppy pass in practice should be running stadiums for the rest of the practice. Meme Jackson's MO is to huck a one handed, running pass at one of her teammates feet and look at them like it's their fault. That's our senior leader, who according to Holly, has "never had a bad practice."

It's such a shame, because this game was winnable, but you can't win with 15 TOs in the 1st half and no sense whatsoever to try to get a 3rd foul on the opposition's best player. Incomprehensible.

Davis needs someone like Gary Blair or Kim Mulkey who has half a brain and can draw up plays for her to get easy looks. Poor kid is always having to do it herself under Holly. Holly makes absolutely no effort to tailor the offense to suit her best players.

And the coaching staff did absolutely nothing to curb the turnover problem. They needed a time out when MSST went on a run to start the second quarter, instead Holly just let their run continue until the final buzzer. Made no attempt to make adjustments to curb their run, made no attempt to sit her team down and calm them down. All they needed to be told was 1. Do not pick up your dribble under any circumstance 2. Ball fake before you pass or shoot 3. Slow down in transition and clear out for Evina coming down the court.

Its a full court man and MSST is doing a great job of getting back. We have three players trying to run alongside the ball lending their man to make passing even more difficult for Evina and crowding the floor instead of spreading it out. We aren't going to get any easy buckets in transition tonight and Holly should have known that going in. Good teams with great coaching don't give up easy transition buckets, you have to beat them in the half court.

Yeah, the turnovers are killing Tennessee, but I am so proud of them to have been able to keep it close for most of the half! I went to bed last night thinking that they very well could be down 20+ points at the half, but they surprised me instead!

If they could clean up the turnovers and get a few early baskets, who knows?

I am rooting HARD for a Lady Vols miracle!! :)

Big T sat out most of the second quarter with 2 fouls. That left MSt without their best player in the lineup (with Vic as coach) vs our star studded roster (with Holly as coach).
The result ? 26-9 MSt.
That's all you need to know.
