Not to beat the dead horse overly much, but Kellie Jolly Harper's team not only beat this Ole Miss team by 13 points AT Ole Miss...they also scored 91 points while doing so.
Those who keep blaming "trolls" for complaints ought to let that fact sink in.
A mid-major tied for second in their conference scores 91 points on the road against a team which had us reeling at TBA with a little over a minute left (until reserves bailed us out).
The same mid-major beat another SEC team which beat us earlier.
There's no excuse for only being able to put up 57 points against a team that gave up 91 to Missouri State. Holly says that the ball "gets stuck in our hands for stretches...for whatever reason." And then talks about not knowing why we get 30-second counts & can't in-bound the ball against the same team that gave up 91 points to Mizzou St.
When you're getting paid good money to produce in front of 10,000+ fans, you need to be able to figure out the reason. Saying, "We'll look at tape" and "We can correct those things" doesn't do much for the fan base when you're down to your last few reg. season games & the same problems continue. At this point, it looks as though the problems will have to be addressed during the off-season before they get corrected.
It's good to be optimistic, but the old saying "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me" seems applicable.
Another useful adage: "Put up or shut up."
