We should be leading this game at least 14 layups missed. Jaime has a wide open one to getit down to six flat missed it. I think we can come back if this team can figure out a way to make some of those easy shots.

I like Staley and Geno, they're strong amazing coaches; they deserve respect wherever they get it. I hate it when fans want everyone to wax lyrical about their teams. When they deserve criticism, give it to them. Nared is the leader of this team, but she can't do it by herself. Too many are missing easy layups, trying too hard. Maybe they'll calm down after the half, but they can easily come back in this game, if they want it enough. I don't mind talk about clothes or other funny stuff, I've done plenty regarding Mulkey!

SC guards are terrible and so are ours. If Westbrook and Jackson could give us anything we would beat SC again.

But, truth be told, regardless of the adjustments, if Jamie is out and Wilson is in, we're likely splitting hairs no matter what.

For as poorly as they shot, particularly close to the basket, being down 10 isn't that much all things considered. Honestly, if they can play the exact same half but MAKE every shot within 5 feet of the basket, I think they can still win.

One of the first things you learn in elementary basketball is how to shoot layups and we have to be one of the worst at making them year in and out. You can understand missing some contested ones but we can miss them with nobody within 7 feet of us. I've never seen anything like it.

It seems like shock more than giddiness and really it can be quite shocking some of the things they do if you aren't used to seeing it.

Nared is the only one who is there tonight, and she has got to be in pain. Russell has been disappointing me. The WNBA is not a given if she keeps it up..

At some point I don't know what I can expect the coaches to do. Missing gimmies at the cylinder. Turning the ball over for no reason. Where's the pride? Where's the pride for playing the game? Tennessee is too talented to be playing like this. And Andy Landers was right, if we were making the layups and the gimmies, Tennessee would be ahead of South Carolina by a dozen, maybe more. South Carolina did not outplay Tennessee in the first half. Tennessee just flat did not execute on offense. No accountability to speak of.

Is that shirt Holly’s wearing Smokey gray? I don’t care as long as she can coach a win here. Westbrook is a mental case. Her and Bowden need to go to shoot around together. The D is satisfactory if someone will put the ball thru the net. Maybe switching baskets will help. Cmon Vols!
