they do have several more players over 6ft tall nerd,but the poor shooting is killing em again,what is the % sly ?

We normally shoot much better. The looks we are getting are ones we normally hit. And yeah, we don't have any size in the paint but we can still play better there than we are.

This is a young team that is not used to playing the highest ranked teams and they have let that get into their heads instead of just playing their own game.

yea the youth is showing up again Volube2,there shooting like they expect to miss,hopefully Simmons turns it on it the 2nd half,has Izzy been playing a lot ? i can't tell from my poor picture on my TV lol

Thanks. I see glimmers when we make some smart moves in the post. We had a nice roll-out late in the half and made a bucket. It looks like we got to stay away from directly under the bucket. Create a little space for us to make a shot.

Haven't seen Izzy since she went out early. She might have snuck back in but she wasn't creating much space for herself when she was in. The ankle must still be bad.

And I agree we are amped up and not shooting well. Simmons' first few shots went all the way over the goal and hit nothing, another player threw the ball three rows deep into the crowd when trying to make a pass. All Stanford has had to do is not play stupid or make mistakes which is their strong point.

No reason that slow guard should even see the basket. Just stay in front of her. She isn't quick.

They are playing frustrated because they know they have stunk it up. We will be lucky to avoid a blowout now.

It is all mental in this game.

This is as bad as I ever seen a Lady Vol team play on both offense and defense. Stanford has a bunch of recruits some not even in the top fifty in the nation other than Owgumike and the are destroying Tennessee. A really horrible performance by our team.

About to get ran out of the gym. Do we run an offense? I was hoping Warlick might go after an assistant that would bring an offense with them. The days of TN pounding it inside and winning due to better talent are over. You've got to be able to out scheme someone.

They need to worry less about who is ahead and more about how they are playing each possession. It doesn't do any good to try to press on offense when you can get an open look with a couple more passes.

Simmons can get by any guard Stanford has any time she likes.

We didn't get the shooting foul but Stanford did. That is always how it is in our house.
