I was proud of the Lady Vols tonight they played better and as if it was them against the world. I did get a little scared when we took the air out of the ball with 4 minutes to go, but we won.

Nia Moore out played Russell in the post tonight. She seem to stay in the right position and challenged for the rebound. I hope Holly starts with the same lineup tomorrow. Somewhere between tonight and tomorrow Russell needs to take a lesson on how to be aggressive. She is much too passive to go up against Texas A&M two big post. If we play as hard as we did tonight, we win a close one, LVs 65 A&M 62.

I don't believe that's right. The announcers even said the game would be on SEC Network & the SEC women semis on ESPNU. I don't understand how the school website could get it wrong. Even my TV guide says the same thing. Tommorrow's games are on SEC Network. The semis are listed on ESPNU. Hmm!

ESPNU has the Ohio Valley Men's tourney tomorrow evening. It's not the SEC women's tourney. Where did the school website get this information that the game would be carried by ESPNU? That's ridiculous! The games are all on SEC Network tomorrow. Good grief!

Don't get too excited yet. Last night's game was against 12-18 Arkansas. Beating the dregs of the SEC isn't much of an accomplishment. It was simply survive and advance. Let's wait and see how well the team plays when/if they face South Carolina. That would be something to cheer about.

It wasn't that we beat them but it was how we beat them that was exciting to me.....execution against the zone,3/4 court press,energy exhibited,better cohesive play,confidence,etc.
