Thank goodness we had DD and Reynolds on our side yesterday. nobody else did much of note. Te'a showed that she has no problem beating the press/double team. We'll need that!

The LV's lost to this same bad team (and others - remember LSU and Alabama?) during the regular season. I understand the wait-and-see approach, but this win was a good win.

Nia Moore out played Russell in the post tonight. She seem to stay in the right position and challenged for the rebound. I hope Holly starts with the same lineup tomorrow. Somewhere between tonight and tomorrow Russell needs to take a lesson on how to be aggressive. She is much too passive to go up against Texas A&M two big post. If we play as hard as we did tonight, we win a close one, LVs 65 A&M 62.

I agree. I would start Moore. She gets into better position to receive passes, to rebound, and to take shots. She also plays better defense and blocks shots rather than foul so much.
I have noticed that Russell seems to be trying to be more aggressive on defense but still laves the lane too much when playing zone. The Ladies have a chance to win tonight.
The substitution plan seems to have reduced the frequency and number of subs. It could be interesting.

If our shooting is consistent and we keep our opponents off the offensive boards we may just win this thing. Landers called our ladies the most talented team in the tourney .

First time all season that we made a team come out of the zone. Glad we got the win with only three players playing over 25 minutes.

The advantage SCAR has is the senior leadership. But if the LVs can beat aTm and MSU to progress to the final, they'll be a different team. Hope Holly goes with the same starters.

The LVs owe Texas A&M a payback game. that was they let slip away. I am betting that they will not make such a mistake in this rematch.

I just hope they have a good shooting night otherwise they will have a battle with Texas A&M's zone. If they can shoot out the A&M out of the zone, they can dominant the game.

I think we can take down A&M....hell I'm still furious over that IDIOTIC charge called on Nared that basically cost us the game in regulation the last time we played them.

I'm sitting amidst a bunch of Kentucky fans. They are rather spirited in defense of their team whenever a foul is called on them! :)

Think the LVs will actually move their feet on offense tonight? Lately all they do is run to a spot on the floor and stand there in hopes of someone getting them the ball. Then as time runs down someone throws up a 3 point attempt.

holly needs to tell cooper to slow down and quit trying to rush everything. she is a bundle of nerves right now.
