First half is an easy story to tell. Texas is has bigger post players and the officials seem to think Texas doesn't foul. 12 fouls called on Tennessee, and 4 on Texas. Cooper had to sit for a bit because a Texas player rolled up on her ankle, and she's looked out of joint the rest of the way.

The rebounding is an absolute head scratcher. It looks like some of them don’t even try. How is that possible?

The lack of awareness on defense on certain plays is also jarring.

I mean it’s like we just stand and look for someone else to get it. Even have hard time rebounding on missed FT’s

Yes! They almost get a shot clock violation each of the few times we didn't give up an easy blow by or a put back. Don't think they have the shooters to bust a zone.

Coop took what the Aussies call a 'walkabout' when she came back in. Many questionable decisions.

Very impressive to have hung in this close so far.

Very poor shot selection from Lady Vols. Refs don’t want to call fouls on Texas, but we still don’t block out on glass or stop the ball defensively on fast breaks.

Watching Puckett on that missed free throw was just sad. So much of rebounding is effort, and she just … sat there watching.

They cannot keep turning in zero effort on important rebounding and defensive plays.

Hey, I would have thought we'd be down by 15-20 at the half, to be honest. So I'm thrilled we're within 5, especially since a whole lot went wrong and we are still in it.

what’s so aggravating in this game , is that Tennessee should be up by at least 10 .. but lack of boxing out and no aggressive defense is frustrating to watch with this team .. hopefully they figure it out and play better the second half ..Go Lady Vols!
