Why on Earth call a timeout and put Nared back into the game?

Tennessee's defense is gawd awful though. Letting Troy players wide open for easy layups. No resistance whatsoever.

I'm not going to lie. I enjoyed that game! That was the first game this season that I can say that I was happy for the Lady Vols.

Happy for all The Lady Vols.

Troy shot the ball 99 times only made 34 percent. We shot it 78 times made 40 for 51 percent. They had 27 offensive rebounds. I think letting teams get offensive rebounds and additional shots is the biggest weakness in our game.

She fouled out soon thereafter. I was thinking not to bring her back in because of possible injury. We had a pretty good cushion 15 pts or more I believe. So not necessary.

But hey we won.

Jaime had a good game. I just wish she slow down on those ill advised passes.

I didn't see the game. Were a lot of those offensive boards off long rebounds or underneath the basket?

Good job Lady Vols.

Good to see Kamera Harris in the game. I hope she doesn't get too down on herself. All she has to do is work on her game. Get in the gym and have someone teach her shooting and post moves.

Great job by Troy. I enjoyed watching them play. I bet they'll go far in their conference. I know I'm going to check on them to see how their playing.

We played better the second half, however, we need to attack the boards better. Russell had a double double but needs to stay aggressive and not take a few minutes off while on the court. This Troy was not tall, but they hit the boards well because of aggressive play. Russell has to dominate.

The Lady Vols have played very good in their last three games, except they seem to have a bad quarter every game, without the ability to stop the opposing team's run. They cannot continue that type of play. We have to come up with ingame answers when th e game heads South. I hope Reynolds, Middleton, and Nard continue their play, as well as Jackson. There are good players on this team. They showed a lot of moxie when Troy cut their lead to five. Very proud of the ladies!!!

Troy got their money's worth out of their time in Knoxville that's for sure. They extended the game for as long as they could by forcing the officials to blow the whistle.

I especially liked the "unintentional" elbow Nared gave the one girl late in the game under the TN basket after corralling an O rebound. After getting scratched, hacked, and clawed to death she'd obviously had enough of it.

Some of each but a lot were in the paint. The LV's move way too slowly to the boards. Troy moves really well and is active. Any LV slow to the ball didn't get it, a Troy player did.

Actually went to full court zone press in 2nd half and when we broke that press they dropped back into a 2-2-1 zone.They were very effective in the zone press for an extended period of time.

This thread was like reading a "farce " or watching a farce on Broadway.I learned a long time ago not to post while there was a game being played .....I became too emotional with the games ups and downs.Anyway it was entertaining reading the two camps perspective during the battle after the fact.

Alexa practices everything she does in a game, away from the game. She knows that it is only showboating if it isn't an integral part of your game and if you don't practice it regularly.

I know she was showboating. But if you had been there,
The team, The crowd, The coaching staff, and especially those in the stands needed something to cheer about,, after the goshawful second qtr.

I have worked out with this girl.
She is very comfortable with the ball.
She plays at a high velocity and and has a good skillset.
As I tell any student of mine:
"If you can do the impossible when you practice, you can do the improbable, with confidence in a game.
