BC they were making a run and we needed her n the game.
Troy shot the ball 99 times only made 34 percent. We shot it 78 times made 40 for 51 percent. They had 27 offensive rebounds. I think letting teams get offensive rebounds and additional shots is the biggest weakness in our game.
...Troy plays no defense, and plays dirty too
Troy may not be your average cupcake. Their current record is 6-3. They lost their first game to Auburn by 9 points. Their other two losses were to Jacksonville by 7 and UAB by 4. Their signature win would be against Villanova, which hey won by 8. That said, their schedule to date hasn't been a world beater, by any means.
As mentioned in an earlier reply, Troy has a number of players listed at over 6'. However, their tallest player is a 6'3" junior center who is averaging 12 minutes/game so far this year. The team strength appears to be depth because they have 10 players who are averaging double digit minutes, with only three of those getting more than 20 minutes/game and no one getting more than 24. Because of the number of players who see the floor, (or perhaps vice-versa) they commit a number of fouls, averaging 24.5/game.
While this should not be a particularly difficult game for the Lady Vols, it could also be a trap game, so the effort shown in the Stanford game needs to be duplicated here.

Troy is playing good. I'm liking the Ramirez chick. She's tough.
With Alexa you get the good and the bad.
Middleton with 24 season high.
If only you could get Middleton to stop hot-dogging. She thinks she is auditioning for the Harlem Globetrotters!
I understand that but i wouldn't pat her on the back with that horrible turnover. She needs to learn that it's not okay to pass the ball like that.
Alexa practices everything she does in a game, away from the game. She knows that it is only showboating if it isn't an integral part of your game and if you don't practice it regularly.
I know she was showboating. But if you had been there,
The team, The crowd, The coaching staff, and especially those in the stands needed something to cheer about,, after the goshawful second qtr.
I have worked out with this girl.
She is very comfortable with the ball.
She plays at a high velocity and and has a good skillset.
As I tell any student of mine:
"If you can do the impossible when you practice, you can do the improbable, with confidence in a game.
