I had a dream last night that the Lady Vols won by the score below, but not putting any money on this happening. Recalling from my dream, the game was a defensive battle on both ends, as the score eludes to.

Dream prediction: 63-55 TN

Honest prediction, I think will be higher scores, but going with TN still, one has to imagine they’re bound to win a game like this at some point.

Honest prediction: 74-70 TN

I was pretty close! 4 points was the difference!

This win shows the country the potential of a Caldwell team.. And more importantly this could be a season changing win for the team. They've been so close a few times on those last possession losses. Now they got over the hump and know they can beat anyone

Good. Here's a stat for you - Tennessee (46%) outshot UConn (40%) from the floor.

Both teams shot 25% from three, not hot, buuuuuuuuut Tennessee outrebounded UConn 46-34.

I do believe Pat would love that last stat.

There was a LOT of redemption in this game.

We beat a hated rival for the first time in forever.

Players who had missed shots in close losses made them.

Coach had her system come through when everyone was questioning it.

We played more team ball and worked as a unit.

These girls have worked hard and they deserve every bit of this success. Now let's go build on it!

Me too, just did not think we would get a fair shake on the officiating. They missed several but not enough to win it for UCONN. Shocked them.
