A great team win, every player had their own moment. So happy for them, especially the seniors. I probably shouldn't post this on a public forum but I am really emotional today. My mom had a major stroke and got news today she won't survive. This win helps so very much in a very tough time, possibly in my life. What to go Lady Vols!! Monumental win for this program. UT is on the path to host as a top 4 seed. No one thought that coming into this season.

So sorry to hear this.....I wish you peace in the coming days. Enjoy this win tonight!

I told my wife this is how Lady Vols program used to be and should be. I could hear the crowd reaction in the other room and I knew they were engaged.
The team just kicked it up a gear. That last interview with Geno when he said “We’re gonna have to figure something out” and when I saw the 5 fresh LVs sitting ready to come in, I felt like it was gonna be a win. They just had too much in the tank and too much “want to” for UConn.
So, so good to see, especially this being CKC’s first year. I go back to when she was interviewed about players not being recruited by her and how pissed she got, insisting they wanted to come back and she wanted them.
She had something to prove tonight. All of em did. And they got it done.
This one will be a classic.

Those recruits see it. Something I've noticed about her..... She never looks scared, always confident. Control what you can...... Good enough isn't good enough unless it was your best......period. She has "It".

She reminds me so much of Pat in so many ways yet she is so very different.

Agrre. Hard to remember she won NPOY awards her freshman year. Great player, but certainly not 'generrational'.

Just like I said in the Missouri game thread the other night…

Even as a marginal LV fan I’m telling you folks now that by year three or four of the Caldwell era you’re going to have the elite program that‘s been missing since Coach Summitt had to step away. I don’t think there is any doubt about it.

Honestly, those of you that pick ever little thing apart better realize you have the right coach at the right time.

This will be THE PROGRAM that rivals S Carolina soon.
