Geno said he wanted this game to be played in Knoxville because he wanted Paige Bueckers to have that experience and this would be her last opportunity. I think that is a compliment to the Lady Vol program, its history and tradition. Tennessee is the mecca of women's college basketball and any player would be thrilled to say she had played here. That said, I'm happy her experience was getting her fanny spanked by the Lady Vols. She is a great player and beating another storied program is extra special.

Her play in the 2nd quarter totally stole the momentum, so great to see so many players be a clutch piece to the puzzle tonight!

The upgrade in PG play under CKC is one of the biggest storylines of the season for me.

No PG has looked this good since Bobbitt. And she had a generational talent to pass the ball. Spencer does not. In one season, she’s easily a top five LV PG.

My mom had a major stroke and got news today she won't survive. This win helps so very much in a very tough time, possibly in my life. What to go Lady Vols!! Monumental win for this program. UT is on the path to host as a top 4 seed. No one thought that coming into this season.

We were in her head. We had more fight. The pressure on her showed. Great player but outplayed.

I am not a fan of “overrated” comments after a win. We beat a first rate team. All the better for our ladies. Don’t diminish what the LVs just did.

Very sorry to hear that. I lost my mom suddenly last year, and while it was terrible, with time I’ve been able to focus on the good times we shared and everything she did for me. Some great Vol victories over the last year also helped to distract me. I wish you all the best under these difficult circumstances.

Part of me wonders if Geno's just lost his touch. For the longest time he had an aura of invincibility, and he seems pretty pedestrian anymore. His teams are obviously still in or around the top ten, but it seems the days of UConn dominance are just ... gone. Kinda wonder how long he'll stick around.
