UNCG really slowed the game down and played zone, so maybe that’s why the score was so low. Glad we got to play the bench today. The commentators mentioned that several times, so that seemed to be the goal.

We'll have to make some of those 25 layups and short jumpers we missed going forward but overall not a bad effort since we basically won with our bench. Burrell and Davis played about 20 minutes between them.

Score was low because Tennessee shot 40% from the field and 27.8% on threes.

They shouldn’t, but the reality is, they will. You have to prepare them mentally for that prospect. Every aspect of your public life is up for scrutiny when you’re involved with the public. To pretend you’re not going to receive criticism, even at a young age, is just sticking your head in the sand. Better to face the reality, let it motivate you and prove people wrong.
