I didn’t watch, nor listen, but looking at the stats, I’m so proud of Kellie for not trying to, as some have said, “embarrass” their opponent with playing starters longer. We are gonna need our starters come SEC time. 1 game doesn’t define them. Go KK for excelling in this game!

Free Emily....She didn't fill up the stat sheet, but she did impact the game when she was in there...I think she will continue to grow

They will play better next time because of this game. I don't think they will get to play as much and we'll stick more to a rotation, but we got one more tune up game and I expect players usually get better the more they play in a live game. KK at least five layup misses. Suarez three or four and out of control three or four more times a high dribble couple times didn't get called. Burrell not herself today. Davis playing her normal game. Darby and Salary turned what could've been good offensive games into bad ones by missing layups and easy five foot in front of basket shots. This game certainly made them feel more like part of the team. They won't get a lot more chances this season going to be a lot of sitting coming up real soon. Glad we had this game give these players extended playing time much more fun than practicing.

glad to jessie not wearing keen brace. do think all ladies wear soft keen brackets that some girls wear? i know some of our ladies do. it might cut down on hurt knee.

Went back and watched the replay of the game and the ladies missed a total of 23 gimmie shots within 3 feet of the basket. Name the player and most was involved in this fiasco!

They better get better because after Lipbscomb..... SEC starts off with TA&M, KY, and Arkansas..... We will know by then if we have a chance to get in top of the SEC? JMO

Not going to be easy to win any of those three all of those teams are top ten teams. We win 2 out of 3 think we finish in the top three in the SEC. I think we lose all three we still win enough to finish in the top six in the SEC. I hope we win all three. We go as Burrell and Davis go if they have bad games we lose.

Texas A&M should be a good game and i think they will possibly get Kentucky 1 of the 2 games.

You all never believe me, but I have told you before @Darth_Vol is a LV fan. He just has his own personality and definitely a different twist. (And sometimes I think he enjoys twisting others just to see the reaction; bad, Darthie. Try to behave.)

Regardless of the final score, we did not play well. Some players looked they were just going through the motions, and unfortunately a couple of them look like that every game. Missed bunnies like today will kill us against a better team i.e. SEC competition. And that play where UNCG got 4 consecutive offensive rebounds before putting it in the basket was inexcusable.

That killed me. Pat would have them running some sprints, assuredly. I'm sure Kelly and the staff grade each game film. Not gonna be a pleasant film review session.

Our post play has to improve, especially against the SEC top five teams. We just do not seem aggressive in that area and really do not have very good post moves on either side of the ball. I am a bit surprised at that because at MoState KJH’s post were very aggressive and were not close to being timid. I would like to see that improve. We are not totally there at the point but seem to have potential in that area. We need to eliminate the turnovers. I think Horston has improved her play. We seem to be set at the 3 and 4 with Burrell and Davis. I think that Suarez , Darby and Salary have the ability to give us some quality minutes.

I like those players on the floor. Destiny can work on her PG skills, Jessie and Tess can shoot from the wings, Marta is really good from 15 feet and will get better, and Emily can defend, rebound and post-up. She has a soft touch but it's hard to score in the physical game when fouls are not being called. I really liked that Emily took at least 3 hard body shots today and didn't back down. Her time is coming.......

Emily, Rarely seen is the turn around jump shot. You are are agile enough to do it. Situation: Single coverage, close to basket, smaller single defender, back to basket, fake
while bending knees , leaping high and turning at same time uplifting ball and flicking ball in. Do not jump backward into defender. Practice makes perfect.
With back to basket and getting ball your tendency is to pass back out but making baskets should be your first option. Really good post players have numerous moves.
