Game Thread Lady Vols vs Vanderbilt

I just want one game where Russell plays like its "her house" I'm talking just mean and dominant, it is so frustrating seeing her just moseying along

I agree but it is not in her DNA. She is too afraid of fouls and like the rest of the team she seems to have periods of time when she loses her focus. She has improved her offense skills, but needs to learn to be a constant bad ass on both ends of the court. I hope Green and/or Cooper has floor leadership skills next year.

Me too! I think Green has the Nasty streak we have missed since Anosike from all the footage I have seen of her!

Great game ladies. You kept your poise most of the ball game. We still need to play with urgency the rest of the way. We have the team to make the NCAA tournament, we just need to play like we want to be there.:good!:

This was a needlessly physical game. I saw more bodies on the floor than in a football game. VU shoves more than any other team in recent memory. I thought Jackson and Nunn were seriously injured at different times.

When we play teams with 6 foot wide-body posts... I like the tandem of Dunn and Shaq. They make a perfect hi-lo in that KD is a 3pt shooter and Nunn likes to be underneath the rim.

They looked good on the floor together tonight.

How can his coaching staff show it's face after this debacle. If we had a half way competent coach we would have scored twice the amount we did in the first half. Pathetic effort by this staff. This team should never look as unprepared as it did tonight.

It was Vanderbilt, who hasn't won an SEC game all season. This was as guaranteed a win as it gets. I hope you're not suggesting that this game means anything...

Vandy is a bad, bad team. Great that Tennessee didn't screw this up, but they are right there with Troy and UNCW in terms of cupcakeability.

If nothing else, it has given the bench a much needed lift.
