When the 3s aren’t falling and we’re not playing defense, we can lose to just about any P4 team. Which is frustrating because we have a size advantage.

Doesn’t matter how well we did shoot or didn’t, the fact is, when you’re not hitting 3s, you adjust the game plan and go inside, not continuing to jack up 3s.

Can't make a bucket 🥺 . Going have to go inside crash the boards even harder. Got to come out with the best 5 and cut down on rotation. Worst quarter of the year so far.

Vandy isn’t doing anything. This is one of the worse games I’ve seen a team ever play on the D1 level. This from the coaches to the players. They deserve to lose today if this doesn’t change in the 3rd qtr.
I’ll give it the first two or three minutes if it doesn’t change I won’t bother watching the rest.
Will watch the NFL games and then check out Deniya Prawl at 5pm on ESPN2.
This is comical watching this performance today.

There you go again. Vandy is most definitely not a garbage team.

I still think the LVs will come back and win. They missed shots in every way imaginable that half. They won't miss so many, esp the bunnies the second half.

Cooper didn't slow her player from coming up court with 7 seconds left. That was another play off she took.

Lots of problems with our fundamentals... not fighting over screens or hitting layups etc...

But when one team is hot shooting and another cold it is tough to win. We don't know what to do when the threes don't fall and they are cutting off our drives to the basket.

Vandy also lost to LSU by 6 at LSU, and they’re up on us by 11 when their star player had 3 fouls.

I get it when they say "trust the process"
But if the process is at an obvious lull,,,trust something else for a minute or two
3 for 20 from beyond the arc is the recipe for a second coming of the mens game yesterday

Something is not right about that GYM. It is a GYM. Designed for home court advantage. The floor from Sideline to Sideline horizontally seems to expanded. Maybe it is just the openness that is throwing me off but I could see where this would affect a shooters perspective.
Adjustments to drive inside and crash the boards.

I get saying “the threes aren’t falling so go inside”

but the shots at the rim aren’t falling either…so what else is left?

Just gotta get something to go
