There were only maybe two shot attempts that possibly should have been passes instead. We took good shots, but couldn't find the net. The shooting is so spectacularly bad that I wonder if the environment/court is afftecting them. I mean, it's bizarrely strange how poorly they're shooting what have been some decent looks at the basket.

Our minute distribution shows how we're getting away from our system. 16/15/15/13/13 for the starters, 7/7/4/5/5 for the bench.

And those starter minutes weren't pretty. Plusminus on the half is -5 for Cooper and Spearman, -10 for Spear, and -19(!) for Spencer and Ruby. Only players in the positiv are Sara and Boyd, both +8.

They have beaten a sum total of ZERO quality teams and lost to Ole Miss by 30, Kentucky by 20+. This isn’t a good team.

The worst thing about this is that, looking at the upcoming schedule, if we lose today it may be a long stretch before we get another win.

This is pretty much a must win.

in the closing minutes I saw Latham in the paint, no one around her and the BHer shot a 3 in traffic

We can't continue to be a one-trick-pony in our minds
we need to understand that there are other ways to think

Probably need to make about 7 or 8 threes and overall shoot 50 percent to win this one now. Have to win the third quarter or they win this one in a blowout.

Bad bad offensively Vandy is playing well and inspired and they are Top 50 type of Team that can beat you when you play bad. I think Kim will be more frustrated with lack of offensive rebounding on all those missed attempts. Definitely worse half of Ball this year. Now let's see how we respond. In CHRIST Alone

They also got double digit road wins against USF, Arizona, and a blowout against Miami. So that's data in the other direction.

But I get that you've already made your mind that the team that just held us to 26 on really solid 3-point defense is ****, so w/e.

Correct. This is a must win game and we came out flat like they were going to hand it to us. Has to start with our defense and we just trotted around and gave them open threes the entire half. If you don’t get stops and score you can’t set the press and our entire system is cooked.

And Tennessee has struggled against subpar teams allowing 75+ points scored against teams like MTSU, Memphis, etc. Does that make them a bad team also?
