And that's fine -- I think that's totally fine. It's the stuff about players being terrible or Pat slapping Holly that's just hyperbolic and silly. I get it. I get the frustration at seeing things come apart. im just saying - "hey, take it easy, go wash the car or something." We're all disappointed. Hell, I'm sure Holly is disappointed, too. Just. Relax a little; it's a terrible enough day already.

Please put Holly out of (our) misery! Let Dean coach em the rest of the year, if he wants the job. And go find a basketball coach...

I mildly disagree. Reynolds has bad footwork, poor shooting mechanics coupled with a slow release, a high dribble, and is a poor defender and rebounder.

Carter is better IMO, but scientists should try to analyze what those invisible rays are that emanate from the goal because everytime Carter gets near it she turns and runs in the opposite direction.

The most important part of the game - shooting and scoring, and both Reynolds and Carter are poor at it.

Was Linnae Harper at the game today? For those who follow that social media stuff, has she commented on her experience today and/or her plans?

Simmons is light years better than any of the guards on this team. She may have played out of control at times, but she never played scared. Can't say the same about the current group.

Very true. Wish we had a Simmons like player this year to compliment Diamond..

And those of you who think Kyra Elza would be a good coach, I suggest you go watch the first round of the NCAA tournament a couple years ago where they played Northwestern St. Holly did something to her wrist and sat out most of the first half and Elza took over head coaching duties for some of that first half and they looked awful. Northwestern St hung around basically until Holly came back to the bench. That's the first and only time I was glad to see Holly resume her head coaching duties..

Back to the game...Nasty, just nasty to watch. I think this is literally the worst performance I've seen from a Lady Vol basketball game, even worse than the Ball St debacle..I just hope we don't lose Diamond because of the poor coaching

You are a bit more optimistic than me. If they continue to play this poorly, then I am seeing 12-13 regular season losses. I think Mizzou right now is a for sure loss, since it's at their place and they can light it up from three, even better than V tech. Florida will be tough too as will Mississippi State. This season could turn from everyone thinking we had a legitimate final four shot to maybe not even making the tournament, and to have all this talent and not make the NCAA tourny would be just unimaginable..

Sunseri would be if they scored 90 points a game and gave up 100. I'd say she's more like Will Muschamp as a head coach.

This is what happens when you give a big job to someone who is not remotely qualified for it. The one thing Warlick could have done, even as an overmatched coach, is revamp her staff, which is as bad as she is. She should have gone out and found at least one dynamic SMART young coach, and in particular somebody with offensive chops since we sux offensively and have for years. Was Warlick astute enough to see the obvious and do something about it? No, she wasn't. She stuck with the same coaches who have done nothing to make us a better basketball team.

Was Holly Pat's first choice to replace her? Did Pat recommend any others to Hart?

Not often a "coach-in-waiting" works out, especially one waiting for 20+ years!

Pat was a once-in-a-lifetime coach, I hope the program can attract a competent coach like her in the near future.

I don't think anyone seriously advocates a physical altercation between Pat and Holly. It was comedy to go along with the comedy show that is the Lady Vols.
