Unless you have UConn’s starting 5 you are not going to last against this style for 40 minutes playing no bench

LOL, a sore subject around here. AD is announcing 9K per game, obviously ticket sales which I'll venture to say they help along. Crowd will pick up after football season, after Christmas, and as the games gets better.

I agree Middle already looks tired. Our athleticism will rule the day I believe. But they are at least a bit of a challenge.

I'd like to see Favor, Whitehorn, Spencer, Cooper, and Spearman out there for a full 5 minutes. All athletes with speed who can play defense. Spear is nonexistent so far tonight.

The players that are defensive liabilities also happen to be our best 3pt shooters statistically. If they get less minutes, I don’t see the system being as effective.

The last two games Spencer looks the best with the three. They have to tolerate Puckett and likely Spear but Darby is too much.

They did a better job cutting off that dribble drive in the paint last part of the qtr. That helped. When the shots start dropping for them I expect a double digit lead quickly.

They gave LSU all they wanted in that r32 game

They’d be no worse than a mid pack team if they played in the SEC. Very good for a mid major

You said, “70% of the team wasn’t recruited to play this style”. Only leftover from last season is Puckett, Spear, and Darby, Coop, and Boyd. the roster was redone this summer with transfers. That the staff selected.

It’s a game thread, it will reflect what’s happening on the court from one second to the next. The ladies have turned it around nicely after a rough start.

Not at all. Middle got fouled alot in the first qtr w no calls. Also replay showed that was clearly a charge. A couple of those tie ups were fouls.

Just an observation.
