Last time LV team here, dome was flat packed for whole tourney with LV fans - our Friday game was approx 2:00 against AU- it has been several years - (Pat and final four quality team, etc)- but it was damn sold out..and then the rest of weekend - you couldn’t find tickets - —— today and last night just crickets - this place is empty and just nothing like I remember - enthusiasm, LV fans taking over town etc.
Is it fear of corona virus or plain old apathy ?

This team doesn't click together. When the coach and her husband is standing on the sideline shouting instructions, you know you're in a world of hurt.

McKinney said it was her dream school, but that Tennessee had little interest in her. Howard said they didn't recruit her until very late, and at that point she wasn't about to consider them.

@PRG was right about UT's failure to attract the local kids. Balogun, Dixon, Howard, and McKinney are doing well at other schools, and I'm sure Hayes, Hunt and Cardosa will be good next year. Missed opportunity for sure.

I think they've gotten worse as the season begins. They need to start the 2nd half the way they did last night...

I hate to say it, but I agree. We have gotten worse, as the season has gone on. Granted, we played cupcakes the first half of the schedule. But, we certainly played Kentucky better the previous game this year. Even our wins at the end of the year, against the worst SEC teams, were lackluster.
Why do we look so bad, for such long stretches ?

TN is a team of overated, low basketball IQ players, and a continuing very poor coaching staff. The post players are terrible. They post up to far up lane to be effective, and they can't catch post passes. The guards are big and very slow. They cannot feed the post. This team also has several players that are not SEC caliber players.As TN fans we must admit this program is headed in the wrong direction. The current staff has to recruit kids that can play, and not fall in love with stars by kids names and how they are ranked by recruiting services. Because we are losing to teams with no high school americans, no 5 star players, and kids not ranked in the top 100. Must hit the transfer portal, and junior college ranks to find some players because we need help bad.

Don't know about worse, but they haven't gotten much better from November and certainly just cannot develop any consistency individually or as a team. So much is same as it ever was - inconsistent shooting, unforced t.os, etc.

Because we have the least number of quick players (1) in the entire league.

I swear, recruiting a point guard to Tennessee ought to be the easiest thing in the universe. Just send them a copy of this game with a little post-it note saying "How does Monday sound?"

I have really tried to be positive, but we all need to come to the reality that we are no longer an elite program, maybe it was Pat..It still boggles my mind that highlands we have had since Pat, played for her, but have no fire in their coaching style...Maybe it is a lack of talent, but these young women have played basketball their entire lives, & seem to be seeing a basketball for the very first time...Most of their turnovers have absolutely nothing to do with the defense...I don't know what they do in practice, but whatever the routine, they need to change it entirely...Teams are supposed to improve as the year goes on & as they play more games together, but our women don't look any better then they did when we played ETSU...Horston & Keys, look the same as they did in November, & that is entirely on the coaching staff...I am not suggesting that Harper shouldn't be our coach, but saying she has not had a good year either...it's just really sad how far we have fallen, & it hard to see why light at the end of this dark tunnel

This team is bad and Kellie is no better than Holly and people can get mad all they want but she is not any better
