If we play like this tomorrow, we lose by 30 (at least).

If we play defense and rebound like we have today, no way we lose against Vandy. We just have to make our shots more.

Wonder if Kelly is secretly feeling vindicated.

Vindicated for what? She was an all time Lady Vol great as a player. Everybody loves her. But she was not a very effective coach and was a very weak recruiter. She had plenty of time to succeed as a coach here.

Caldwell is in her first season and is already being considered for National Coach of the Year in D1. She and her system may not ultimately succeed, but she’s shown great promise and I am looking forward to seeing what happens when her own recruits arrive in Knoxville.

Shooting 26 percent for the game, but we have totally dominated them on defense forced 16 turnovers. If we were even shooting 40 percent we would have 14 more points on to that total. Best defense we have played energy is high just not shooting well for the fourth straight game.

Another tough start, but they strung together a good sequence or two in the second. Won’t ease any fears considering the opponent, but it’s an improvement over UGA so let’s start with that and see where this second half goes.

15-4 on turnovers. 4 turnovers could be close to a season low for a half!

Their t.o.s are padded by that player whose been called for traveling 3 or 4 times.

But our D intensity did pick up well

Plus fourteen shots but shooting 25.6 percent. Held them to 28 percent third quarter they will have rested and built back up some endurance. We have to match them in points at least. Started the second quarter 4 of 8 but ended 2 of 10. Get her some consistent three point shooters by next season and were going to roll because we have the best five players back.

I guess Cooper will come back seems to like to argue with the coach.

I have absolutely no idea what happened to this team a couple of weeks ago, but whatever it was it must have really been impactful. This team looks absolutely lost on offense. For reference, Alabama lead A&M 29-8 after 1 quarter.

The ONLY positive is that Cooper's ankle injury has slowed her down so she at least doesn't turn the ball over every possession as she has this season.

Defense is the best it's been in 4 games. Energy is great. They were over thinking on there shots to start the game. Maybe they settle in and make a run in the tournament. I'm more positive today than the past 2 weeks. GLV

How many 10 second calls had TAM gotten this year against OTHER defenses? That would be a real factor. Then add in the long pass turnovers to avoid more of the same!

When Hollingshead transferred to us there was so much excitement from this forum but she’s been underwhelming during her time here.we would be much better if she was better.her and Spearman should be awesome playing together and playing off each other maybe this system isn’t for her but I’m disappointed she didn’t do more after getting here
