That was quite some terrible play by Tennessee thus far. Kellie calls for one shot and no one listens. Horston playing like a wild woman. Whole team has just played really bad except Tess who has done the job on both ends of the court. At least the matchup zone slowed down their offense when we could manage not to throw the ball away for a transition basket.
You can thank Kellie Harper for this Jordan Horston performance.
If Jordy was a freshman and they were playing a ranked opponent, I would agree. She’s a 4-year senior though. Gotta adjust whether starting or coming off the bench. Turnovers, errant passes and missed shots at point blank range didn’t help. As amazing as she is, that’s been an issue for her even when starting.
But yeah, I absolutely disagree with Kellie benching her.
They also talked about the 12 turnovers and bad decision making did you hear that part? This is a common area of concern because it has been happening almost every game we play since Harper has been coach. Like they say yes we make it up sometime with rebounding, but were not doing that enough today.People just talk to hear themselves on this forum. Listen to the game announcers talking about Tennessee players and team you’ll hear the complete opposite of what is posted on this form. It’s so comical. The game announcers have raved about Jillian Hollingshead and Tess Darby this 1st half. You folks on here come to constantly slander every player that is returning next season. I sure hope the ones that are complaining will find another school to follow by time the season starts. I’m definitely looking forward to it!
Because Kellie who “hates change” changes the lineup every game and inexplicably benched the best players for the dumbest reasons.
Clearly affected Horston’s head which has always been her worst enemy. Why make a snap decision over something so benign? Sorry but I hate that decision. Made a mountain out of a molehill.
