Game Thread:Volunteers vs. Marquette

I don't agree with transition three's either unless you have a Lofton on your team that makes an uncontested 3 95% of the time.... but that is part of the way we play. It's painful sometimes, but it's the way it is.

Don't kid your self. The game is very different from highschool to college. The rules may be the same (although they aren't), but things are different.

and the situations that they had in high school are totally different compared to college.

I do think we showed some progression on defense over the back stanza of the half. I'll take improvement on defense right now as opposed to offense at this current time.

I suspect I'm more aware than you are. Baskeball fundamentals are the same. Excuses for being lost are simply excuses.

In high school, he didn't have to focus on that part of the game much, as sheer athleticism is what made him good in high school. It's the same as high school football and every other sport. The nuances of the game don't matter much until the higher levels, while athleticism matters more at the high school level.

The differences are about atrengh and maturity, not concentration and understanding. BeSley, Rose, Mayo etc etc seemed to transition just fine.

Hopson is not Mayo or Beasely, but they did have a transition to college the first few games.

I assure you, I do. I assure you that just because you use declarative sentences you are not always correct.

you dont have to be 18 to get tats, if youre under 18 you can get them with parents permission, hes probably been getting them since he was 14 or 15

Either way, nice allocation of funds...I'm pretty sure at 14 or 15 I didn't have any money to be spending on anything, let alone tattoos that can cost hundreds of dollars apiece.
