I thought the "time of the pitch" was determined when the pitcher starts her motion not when the ball is release. I know for a fact it is that way in baseball.

I thought the same too. If her foot was entirely out of the box, it would make sense. Not sure if its a bad call, but certainly a questionable one. Pulling Renfro for Renfro. Ivy was doing great before those last two at bats.

I tend to agree so far... seems like Ivy has had the tighter strike zone. But then again, our batters have to stop swinging at the riser up in their eyes.

If they would move up in the box it would help negate the rise.

Actually for a rise you want to be in the back of the box but luna also throws a great drop which you want to be in the front of the box

Actually for a rise you want to be in the back of the box but luna also throws a great drop which you want to be in the front of the box

Wasn't that way when I coached... especially for a ball that moves up late. Defies all logic.
